The story

The Schroeder Saddletree Factory Museum interprets the woodworking shops that produced saddletrees in Madison. HMI’s property page points visitors to a virtual tour of the factory and to photographs credited to the Historic American Engineering Record, the HMI collection, and the Madison-Jefferson County Public Library. Those credits are kept with each photograph in the media library.

Schedules can change for events, restoration, or the season. The dates above come from the same tour calendar as the Events page.
